The curriculum of Church of the Savior Nursery School reflects the need for young children to have a variety of firsthand experiences to help them become aware of God’s world, and of themselves and others. Content is taught within a framework that is Christ-centered and developmentally appropriate. The process of learning is very important. Through “discovery learning”, children grow in many areas — art, music, language, math, science, social skills and perceptual-motor development. Our classrooms are child-oriented with opportunities for both structured and self-directed activities and experiences.
