God’s Work Our Hands!
Prayer List, Phone and Email Chain
“First of all, then, I urge that petition, prayers, requests and Thanksgivings be offered to God for all.” St. Paul (1 Timothy 2:1) –
Church of the Savior offers the ministry of prayer for all who seek it, through intercessions at worship, a phone chain, by email and the Week in View newsletter.
The priesthood of all believers, an important Reformation idea, doesn’t mean that we don’t need a priest to intercede for us, but that we all serve one another through prayer, and through the mutual conversation, consolation and correction of one another, as ‘priests’ to each other.
Please call the church office at (201)261-0420 or email at Church@cosparamus.org if you would like to request the blessing of the congregation’s prayers or for information on getting involved in any areas of ministry described below:

The Circle of Friends women’s group meets several times a year for brunch and the Men’s Breakfast is usually held the first Saturday of the month.

Events offered include the annual Christmas Gala, Church Picnic, Clam Bake or Oktoberfest, Fish and Chips dinners and Coffee Hours every other Sunday.
Stewardship– Utilizing our time, talent and treasure in the service of our loving God from whom all blessings flow!
Worship– Join our altar circle, usher staff or be a reader or altar assistant. Be a part of our music ministry in the choir, worship band, as an instrumentalist, vocalist or help with beautifying our sanctuary for worship.
Stephen Ministry– Equips lay people to provide confidential, one-on-one Christian care to individuals (congregation members and non-members alike) who are experiencing difficulties in their lives. The pastor will always be on the front lines of care, especially during times of crisis. But there are always more needs for ongoing, one-to-one care than pastors can effectively meet by themselves. Stephen Ministers are trained to support and extend the care that the pastor continues to provide. Call Pastor Miller at (201)261-0420 for more information about this important ministry.
